לכל מי שרוצה (כמוני) להציץ ולבדוק את IE7 אבל לחכות עם ההתקנה המלאה, או לחילופין, התקין את IE7 ואף מרוצה ממנו, אבל רוצה גם גרסאות ישנות יותר (נניח לשם בדיקת אתרים), האתר הזה יכול לעזור מאד.
האתר נותן הסבר מפורט להתקנת IE7 בגרסת standalone ואף מספק תוכנת התקנה למי שרוצה, ואת הקוד שלה לפרנואידים שבחבורה.
כמו כן, האתר מספק גם הסברים מלאים ותוכנת התקנה, לגרסאות ישנות יותר (עד IE3).
ההתקנה של IE7 בעזרת תוכנת ההתקנה המסופקת מהירה ופשוטה, IE7 IE6 והשועל רצים כרגע במקביל ולא מפריעים זה לזה (מה שלא ניתן אגב לומר על גרסת ה-portable של השועל, שרוצה ומתעקשת לרוץ לבד), והכל בסה"כ נראה תקין.
בהרצה הראשונה ה-IE7 נתקע מעט (או שאני הייתי חסרת סבלנות), אבל אחרי שהרגתי והפעלתי מחדש – הכל תקין לחלוטין.
אני כבר רואה הבדלים בתצוגת ה-HTML של הבלוג שלי בין שלושת הדפדפנים.
IE7 קורא את תיקונים שעשיתי ב css, ולכן סרגל הניווט שלי מעוות מעט, מעבר לכך הכל נראה תקין.
