10. EDIT: I should add that at the very beginning of my shopping trip, I actually do my list in a coffee shop in front of the supermarket. It gives me a chance to think, and to take advantage of any specials that I can spy, before I launch myself into the fray. And if its not on the list, it doesnt get purchased. Its a really important rule to follow. It doesnt take long to get into the habit, although there was a time when we seemed to get toilet rolls every week
